Yesterday my Professional Women in Building Council (PWB) welcomed back Deena Ebbert with Charthouse Learning and the FISH! Philosophy. Deena invites us to begin seeing our jobs as a tool to make our lives complete, and the FISH! Philosophy as a way to build a common language for success. Deena showed us that everything we need to lead extraordinary lives is already within us.
The Action Plan helped us tap into what values are important to each of us, we were guided into conversations that created energetic, fresh new ways to interact with one another, and how to approach others within our workplace.
We had 22 attendees participate in the exercise. At one time we were given 30 seconds to think about creating a community with a utility or service that we felt passionate about providing. We then went around the room and everyone shared his/her idea and Deena wrote them on the post it board for all of us to see. We were asked not only what our idea for a utility or service was we were asked why we chose it. (Here we are learning what is most important to this individual).
Then we were asked what three values were most important to us. Mine were Financial Stability, Self Fulfillment and Family. (By this point we are really getting to know one another). We were then asked to walk around the room with our pen, no paper and write words of inspiration to share with one another. It was much like musical chairs without the sitting down part. It was really fun and very interactive.
Another segment was like a memory game only in conversation where we listened to a story from another person and repeated it to the next person. This exercise taught us to see how much information we could retain or not retain about that conversation.
Deena specializes in helping corporations large and small. So when you are ready to unleash the unlimited potential that exists with you, contact Deena Ebbert, you will be glad you did!
Thanks Deena!!
