You Know You're a Short Sale Realtor (SFR)
When...
...you think you're on hold whenever the phone is to your ear.
...you find trivial things to do at your desk, like sharpening your pencils.
...you humm the "on hold" music of Bank of America throughout your day.
...you get up earlier than most agents to call on your files and drink an entire pot of coffee before anyone else arrives in the office.
...you have consistent dreams of foreclosures happening on your listings.
...you get your banks mixed up.
...you have your client's last 4 digits of their social security number memorized.
...you find yourself repeatedly pressing the "#" key or zero.
...your title instead of Realtor becomes "Work with me Please Mr. Negotiator"
...you hold back your anger when leaving multiple messages for a negotiator to call you back.
..you talk to your husband determined to have it your way at least for today.
...you feel like you've known your negotiator for years & feel obligated to call them after a file closes, just to stay in touch.
...price reductions were never this easy!
I think these things make us "specialists”.
